Who we are

Signs Plus Inc. is a Canadian company which has been providing effective signs and innovative promotional graphics to retail, corporate, institutional and wholesale customers since 1994. We specialize in printing large format graphics, supplying trade show exhibits and a variety of portable display products. We are conveniently located near Toronto in Burlington, Ontario Canada. Most orders are shipped to customers throughout Canada and the United States, but in person pickup is also available.

Comments

This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices for www.tablecovers.ca. This privacy policy applies solely to information collected by this web site. It will notify you of the following:

• What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the web site, how it is used and with whom it may be shared
• What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data
• The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information
• How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website (in comments/blogs – this suggestion does not apply to image uploads of logos, etc use to print products), you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as registration details or credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. We use Comodo Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology for your protection.You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser (in Google Chrome), or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page. In addition, all credit card transactions are processed by Elavon Canada (one of the largest and most secure payment processing firms in the world).

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Registration

When a customer registers with on our web site or during the order checkout process, a user is required to give certain information (such as name and email address). This information is used complete any orders and to contact you about the products/services on our site in which you have expressed interest. At your option, you may also provide demographic information (such as gender or age) about yourself, but it is not required.

Orders

We request information from you during the order checkout process. To buy from us, you must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we’ll use this information to contact you.

This web site may contain some links to other sites. These will be clearly identified, but please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.

Surveys & Contests

From time-to-time our site requests information via surveys or contests. Who we share your data with

We are the sole owners and users of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment or review, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
